Historical and Ecological Heritage of Tarata
The heritage of Tarata is made up of the sum of customs and traditions of the different groups of people who have inhabited the province. They have all contributed their idiosyncrasies, ways of acting, beliefs and arts, maintaining a bipartite conception of the Andean world represented by the communities Lupaqa and Yunga.
These legacies have been transformed with the expansion of cultures and the settlements of their descendants, and a group of them still exist in the city. strategic ecosystems which become spaces of ecological and scenic attraction for residents and visitors. The set of cultural assets and manifestations are, in short, the Heritage of the town and its inhabitants, which obliges the community to preserve it and transmit it to future generations.
