This intervention aimed to <\/span><b>to highlight the beauty and historical value of the Church of Saint Benedict<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an emblematic monument of the city, through the implementation of a modern scenic lighting system that enhances its facade and surroundings during nighttime hours, boosting its tourist and cultural appeal.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The works included the <\/span><b>Installation of an energy-efficient LED lighting system<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Designed to highlight the church&#039;s architectural details, such as arches, towers, walls, and ornamental elements, while ensuring energy efficiency and respect for the original structure. <\/span><b>recessed lighting fixtures, directional projectors and underground cabling<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, All the materials were selected based on criteria of durability, safety, and environmental sustainability. The lighting design was carefully planned to achieve balanced illumination that adds drama and visual enhancement without altering the aesthetics or generating light pollution in the historic setting.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Furthermore, the intervention included the <\/span><b>implementation of an automated control system<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which allows the intensity and tones of the light to be regulated according to cultural events, festivities, or religious activities. With this action, the Church of San Benedicto not only acquires new visual and tourist value, but also becomes a <\/span><b>local identity icon and community meeting point<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, strengthening Tarata&#039;s nighttime tourism offerings.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Overall, stage lighting contributes to <\/span><b>urban beautification, pedestrian safety and boosting the local economy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, By encouraging tourist visits and the provision of cultural activities during extended hours, this project consolidates the San Benedicto Church as one of the main attractions of the Tarata \u2013 Inca Trail \u2013 Ticaco circuit, integrating technological modernity with the preservation of historical heritage and promoting sustainable and culturally responsible tourism in the Tacna region.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This intervention contributes to the <\/span><b>enhancement of cultural heritage<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the province of Tarata, allowing its appreciation at night and enhancing the perception of the urban environment. It also fosters local identity, promotes nighttime tourism, and boosts the district&#039;s economy by making the church a visual and symbolic landmark for visitors and residents, thus strengthening the area&#039;s cultural and tourist offerings.<\/span><\/p><h3><strong>Museum script and interpretation room of Tarata<\/strong><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He <\/span><b>Museum Script and Interpretation Room of Tarata<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is part of <\/span><b>Component 02 of the project \u201cImprovement of tourist services of the Tarata \u2013 Inca Trail \u2013 Ticaco tourist circuit\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and its main purpose is <\/span><b>To enhance the understanding, dissemination and appreciation of the cultural, historical and natural heritage of the province of Tarata<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Through this intervention, a modern and educational interpretive space was implemented, designed to strengthen local identity and enrich the visitor experience through visual, technological and pedagogical resources.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The development of <\/span><b>museographic script<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This allowed for the structuring of information in a clear and engaging way, organizing the visitor&#039;s journey through thematic axes that address the history, archaeology, biodiversity, traditions, and Andean worldview of the area. This process included the <\/span><b>Implementation of information panels, display cases with representative pieces, models, audiovisual material, infographics and interactive systems<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, All of this is geared towards improving the understanding of the cultural and natural environment. The museum design was based on principles of universal accessibility, ensuring that the content is understandable for audiences of different ages and educational levels.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Likewise, the <\/span><b>Tarata Interpretation Center<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It established itself as a <\/span><b>learning and tourism dissemination center<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, This initiative not only provides information to visitors but also serves as a meeting place for the local population, educational institutions, and tour operators.
